On-site survey update: completing the utilities survey works on Redriff Road and Surrey Quays Road

Plowman Craven, on behalf of British land, are planning to complete the survey of existing utilities on Redriff Road and Surrey Quays Road between 1st and 4th September 2020. These works are associated with the Canada Water Masterplan and were unable to complete previously due to emergency high voltage cable repairs in the same area.

Works and duration

The survey works involve lifting and replacing manhole covers and temporarily marking underground service routes on the ground. All works will strictly adhere to Government and industry guidance in relation to COVID-19. Temporary traffic management at the junction of Redriff Road and Surrey Quays Road is required on Friday 4th September, this has been discussed and agreed with Southwark Council. This includes temporary traffic lights and, where possible, stop/go boards and priority signage to reduce impacts on the travelling public. Access to roads off Redriff Road and Surrey Quays Road will be maintained at all times.

Working hours and activity

Surveyors from Plowman Craven will be working Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 4pm, as agreed with Southwark Council. This activity is non-intrusive and working noise will be kept to a minimum.

We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and also thank you for your co-operation during these survey works.
