Invitation to view proposals for Zone H – which includes the Printworks building

We would like to invite you to a virtual exhibition to share details of a Reserved Matters planning application, where we are proposing a sustainable office-led redevelopment of the Printworks building, which is located within an area known as ‘Zone H’ of the Canada Water Masterplan.

You can visit our virtual exhibition at https://cwm.exhibition.app between Monday 21st June and Monday 5th July.

The proposals, which include ground floor retail, improved landscaping and the creation of new routes through the site, will celebrate the raw and industrial character of the existing building, while bringing its appearance up to a modern standard. The planning permission for the Canada Water Masterplan established the parameters within which Zone H can be developed, and this RMA is being brought forward in conformity with these approved parameters, seeking approval for the detailed design, proposed appearance, layout, use, scale and landscaping of the building area.

This RMA for the Printworks is the first phase of development to take place on Zone H, with a future RMA for the remainder of the zone being prepared at a later date. The demolition of the warehouses associated with the Printworks building will also make space for a new 3.5-acre park, and will also be coming forward in a future RMA.

Find our more and get in touch with the team

Detailed information boards, images, diagrams and a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions booklet for the proposal can be viewed online between 21st June – 5th July at our virtual exhibition, by visiting https://cwm.exhibition.app. You’ll also be able to send any comments or questions to the team directly from the exhibition.

Although we are unfortunately unable to hold in-person drop-in exhibitions at this time, we remain committed to sharing detailed plans with you and ensuring that the wider project team are available to answer any questions you may have before a planning application is submitted.

As well as visiting our virtual exhibition you can also request printed copies of the materials, or if you would like to arrange a personal briefing or ask questions on the proposals directly to the project team, please get in touch.
